Schedule Pick-Up Week is August 11–14 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (floating). Students and families can pay fees, complete back-to-school forms, pick up parking passes, get schedules, and more.
Grade-level schedule:
August 11 – Seniors
August 12 – Juniors
August 13 – Sophomores
August 14 – Freshmen
Students must attend on their assigned day due to scheduling. If unable to attend, schedules can be picked up during Freshman Orientation or Open House.

Freshman Orientation (Class of 2029): Tuesday, August 19 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm: a structured evening to explore DCHS, get key info, and learn about clubs, sports, CTE & more!
Open House (10th–12th grades): Thursday, August 21, from 2:00–4:00 PM: a floating event to meet staff, walk your schedule, and prep for a great year!

Davie High students are invited to attend summer enrichment field trips hosted by the DCHS STEM Center. These experiences include museum visits, industry tours, college campus tours, and a hands-on science lab.
Trip dates: July 9, 14, 17, and 29

Last Friday, Zach Wood and Corbin Kopetzky hosted a powerful Military History Museum in the Learning Commons, showcasing artifacts from the Civil War to present day. Students had the unique opportunity to engage with veterans, hear their stories, and even volunteer. An unforgettable day of learning, honor, and history!

After last week's subfreezing temperatures, we're especially thankful for this week's 50 to 60 degree weather! 😁
We can't fail to mention a HUGE shoutout to our incredible transportation team for arriving at school sites in the early hours to ensure all buses were ready to roll, and to our dedicated maintenance team for tackling several heating issues that always seem to pop up during such frigid temps. ❄️🚌⚒️
