OpenGate weapon detectors will be in use, and a clear bag policy will be strictly enforced.
Beginning August 22, 2025, spectators will no longer be permitted on the field immediately after games to ensure the safety for players, coaches, officials, and fans.
To meet student-athletes or coaches, fans should use the field house gate, which will open approximately 10 minutes after the game, once visiting teams and officials have exited and War Eagle coaches have met with the team.

Students must attend on their assigned day due to scheduling. If unable to attend, schedules can be picked up during Freshman Orientation or Open House.

As we gear up for the first day of school, we’re excited to welcome students back with two important events!
Freshman Orientation (Class of 2029): Tuesday, August 19 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm: a structured evening to explore DCHS, get key info, and learn about clubs, sports, CTE & more!
Open House (10th–12th grades): Thursday, August 21, from 2:00–4:00 PM: a floating event to meet staff, walk your schedule, and prep for a great year!
