Scholarships
Scholarships for the Class of 2025 will be posted on this site as they are received in the Student Services office. All Scholarships will be posted in deadline order. Please make sure you and your senior are spending time applying for these scholarships. Most of the scholarships here are local dollars investing in your education.

- Members Credit Union Scholarships
Deadline: February 1, 2025
Open to all graduating students planning to continue their education who hold accounts at Members Credit Union. Don't have an account? Joining is easy. Go see John Hamby-Lattimore at the War Eagle Credit Union during your lunch.

- The Silver Pen Writing Competition
Deadline: February 16, 2025
Davie High students will compete with Homestead Hills community in Winston-Salem. Your topic this year is "How have the extracurricular programs such as music, art, clubs, and/or sports teams helped with your educational and personal growth? How do you feel it would effect the education system if they were taken away?".

- The Davie Community Foundation Scholarships
Deadline: February 19, 2025
Lots of scholarships under this one application. There are scholarships for students pursuing four-year programs, two-year programs, and trade schools. All graduating seniors planning to continue their education next year should fill out this application.

- Farmington Ruritan Scholarship
Deadline: February 19, 2025 (by the end of the school day)
Open to graduating seniors who reside in the Farmington Fire District. An exception can be made for the children of a current & active member. Completed applications should be returned to Davie High School Student Services.

- Golden Leaf Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2025
Open to graduating seniors planning to continue their education at one of the participating campuses listed on the site. You must be from a qualifying community to apply. Davie County is a qualifying community. This is a wonderful scholarship that provides a scholarship for tuition and summer leadership/enrichment activities.

- State Employees Credit Union "People Helping People" Scholarship
Deadline: March 14, 2025
Open to graduating seniors who are planning to attend one of the 16 UNC system colleges in North Carolina and have (or parents have) accounts at SECU. All instructions can be found in the links below. This scholarship is worth $10,000 to be paid over four years. Completed documents should be emailed to browne@davie.k12.nc.us no later than 5pm on March 14, 2025. Please do not wait until the last minute. Some steps take a few days for verification.

- Ashley Furniture Grants-in-Aid Scholarship
Deadline: March 14, 2025
Open to graduating seniors who has a parent/guardian employed by Ashley Furniture.

Deadline: March 14, 2025
Open to graduating seniors planning to enter one of the following fields: Automation Technology, Automation & Robotics, Carpentry, Commercial Driving, Construction, Diesel Technology, Electrical, Electromechanical, Engineering(Automation, Computer, Design, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical) Heavy Equipment Operation, HVAC, Interior Design, Information Technology (IT), IoT (Internet of Things) Machine Tooling, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Pipefitting, Plumbing, Welding & Fabrication.

- Eunice Riggins Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: March 15, 2025
Open to female graduates with good academic standing, character, and involvement in their school and/or community.

- Mary Rose Mills-Linda Rankin Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: March 15
Open to any student planning to enroll in a four year college for the 2025-2026 school year. Academic achievement, character, and school and/or community involvement are the primary considerations for this scholarship.

- Clare Johnson Marley-Mary Earle Berger Fine Arts Scholarship
Deadline: March 15
Open to any graduating student planning to enroll in a four-year university for the 2025-2026 school year and planning to study an area in the fine arts.

- Davidson Davie Community College Foundation Scholarship
Deadline: March 20, 2025
Open to all students planning to continue their education at Davidson Davie Community College. Even if you are planning to utilize Ignite Davie funds, this scholarship can be very helpful. If you are not eligible for 100% of Ignite Davie - please apply. Completed applications should be returned to Student Services at Davie High or can be emailed to browne@davie.k12.nc.us.

- ADK Beta Mu Local Scholarship
Deadline: March 31, 2025
Open to graduating female students planning to go into education.

- Yadkin Valley Wildlife Federation Scholarship
Deadline: April 25, 2025
Open to high school seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA planning a career in the following: Wildlife Conservation, Preservation, Habitat, Fisheries, Forestry, Agriculture, or a related field.
